 Cassie has been known to take long hiatuses between musical releases. Her influential self-titled debut came out in 2006, and it wasn't until 2013 that she released her icy mixtape RockaByeBaby. 4 Years later, Diddy debuted the singer's new single "Love A Loser," which falls somewhere between her Ryan Lewis-produced work and the dark, sedated music on the tape.

 While keeping her signature breathy, understated delivery, Cassie's melodies are deceptively complex, fleshing out her lead with some airy harmonies. Taking after the feature-heavy RockaByeBaby, Cassie welcomes G-Eazy into her insular world for a guest verse. Will we get her third official project this year? Here's hoping.
